[Ginny and Harry's flat] [mid afternoon] [ATTN: WEASLEY MEN]
Ginny had had about enough. She was furious. She'd kept quiet about her brothers apparent dislike or discomfort with her relationship with Harry for quite long enough. She couldn't keep quiet any longer. The volcano was ready to explode. She paced the flat, occasionally yelling or kicking at something. Good thing Harry wasn't home. He would think she'd gone completely insane.
"They simply canNOT continue to treat me like I'm five!" she exclaimed. These were the times she hated being the baby sister to so many boys. And she hated that it affected their friendship with Harry as well. She grit her teeth and went to the desk in the hall. She pulled out a quill and paper and set to writing.
( Owl to Weasley Men )
She smiled, satisfied. Molly Weasley herself couldnt have crafted a better letter. She would have been proud of her daughter. She made copies and tied each one up, giving them to her owl.
"Get these to them NOW." she instructed. The owl flew out of the window. Ginny stood to get things ready. Oh there would be tea. Certainly there would be tea. She had promised tea.
There would also be mini!Molly, in rare form.

[Harry] [Their Flat] [Evening]
Ginny had been feeling restless and she couldn't figure out why. Her life had finally settled back into a rhythm, back to normal. She was only having occasional nightmares about the kidnapping and when she did wake up in terror, she had grown used to having Harry right there to comfort her.
So why was she restless?
She decided to take a day off of work. She didn't tell anyone, just decided to drop off the face of the Ministry for a day. She knew it might cause an alarm, but she didn't care. Harry left and she didn't. She cleaned. And then...she began cooking. She found herself cooking all of Harry's favorite dishes. While things were cooking, she pulled together candles and good dishes and silverware. And set the table for a romantic dinner for two. She suddenly realized what was needed. Time with Harry. Harry. Harry was needed.
She changed into a little black dress, her hair pulled back out of her face for once. She looked at herself in the mirror. She looked nice. She looked good. Dinner smelled edible and the flat looked romantic. It was perfect. She didn't have a plan, thanks to her brothers and silly girls, but she was beginning to understand what she wanted.
With everything ready, she waited for Harry to come home from work to see just how lovely she really was.

[Ministry] [ANYONE] [evening]
Ginny had gotten back to her office and had wanted to collapse into a pile on the floor. After her time spent in Russia it seemed as though no one had done ANY work and had in fact left it all for her to complete on her return. It was going to be a long day.
She got into the office and closed the door, sighing, now wondering why she had come back at all. Work sucked. But she did have a nice shiny new flat and a wonderful boyfriend to come home to. Not that she'd see him yet. Or had time to stop at the flat. She'd come straight to work. She spent the day locke din the room, charms put up so no one could bother her. She got through a good chunk of work, then picked through the rest to see what she could bring home.
She was leaving the office when she tripped and dropped everything. "BOLLOCKS!" she yelled, grimmacing as her knees now smarted beyond belief. She was hoping no one had seen her.

[anyone] [her flat] [morning after Don's club opening]
Ginny knew she was awake because of the dull pain she felt radiating throughout her body. She tried to ignore the pain, but the more she tried the more conscious she became. With each passing moment the pain became sharper, more definfed. She felt each slap, each punch, each hair pull.
She groaned and pulled the covers over her head, an action that only caused MORE pain to radiate throughout her body. Why had she thought getting into a FIGHT would be a good idea? She rolled onto her side and curled up into a ball, then held as still as possible, not even wanting to breath for fear of the pain.
"Everyone can bugger off..." she groaned out loud.

[Anyone in the Ministry...or Anyone at all actually] [Midday] [Ministry]
Enough time had passed. Or at least thats what she told herself as she moved one foot in front of the other towards the entrance of the Ministry. She hadn't been anywhere NEAR the building since the kidnapping. But now, in order to show her family she was NOT crazy, she was going back. No one knew she had chosen this day to return; she didn't want to deal with all the hubbub that was certainly going to accompany that announcement.
She entered the building, feeling more visible than the first time she had set foot in the Ministry after her two year absence. She walked quickly down the halls, staring straight ahead, lest she turn right back around and headed home.

[St. Mungos] [Anyone ATTN: HARRY, WEASLEYS, ETC] [night]
She slept.
They'd apparated to the hospital and for the first time Ginny could see just what had happened to her. She was bruised and cut, there was a large gash in her leg and her shoulder was out of place. She was taken away from Harry almost immediately which brought on a fresh set of fear and cries. She'd been alone (minus Cho) for too long now and she didn't want to be poked and prodded by people she didn't necessarily know.
She screamed as they set her shoulder, then she drifted off as they gave her something to sleep.
She slept.
She woke up periodically, her eyes fluttering open, not focusing on anything, then she would shut down again. they would tell her later her body was in shock, that she had finally succumbed to everything she'd gone through.
She slept.
Maybe she would never wake up. Or she would and this would all be a dream. Or she would and she'd still be in that dungeon. She didn't know when or why, but suddenly the drugs and the fear and the shock gradually eased its grip on her.
She opened her eyes.

[01 Jan 2009|10:45pm] |
An ordinary day.
An early day.
She had pulled herself out of bed, as she had for the past week, long before the sun had decided to grace the world with its presence. As her feet hit the cold wood of the floors in her flat, she muttered to herself over and over again, "I love my job..I love my job..."
As usual she was in the Ministry before anyone else had arrived. She was even earlier than Cho this morning. She walked into her office and closed the door behind her, eyeing the pile of files that had grown exponentially in the small amount of hours that she hadn't been in the office.
It was probably because she was so absorbed with the files that she didn't feel anything wrong. It was probably the ever growing paperwork that kept her from hearing anything out of the ordinary. Whatever the reason Ginny Weasley, who had not let her guard down for more than half a second in over seven years, missed all the signs.
When her door opened, she didn't look up. It was dismissed as someone bringing her more paperwork, so when she looked up and found herself staring into the mask of a Death Eater, she couldn't react fast enough.
She reached for her wand, but the Death Eater multipled and had knocked her out of her chair. She fingered her wand, she even got off a hex, but it was deflected. All of her training wasn't helping. Voices taunted her, told her to get up, but she couldnt. She wouldn't. But she was lifted off the ground by arms stronger than her will, forced to stand until she crumpled to the ground in pain, the effects of the Cruciatus. Tears streamed down her face, a voice laughed. It echoed in her head...it went black.
When she woke up again she didn't know where she was. Wherever she was, it was as if light didn't exist. Fear gripped her, her mind already masking whatever had occured in the Ministry. The last time she had woken up without memory of where she was or what she had done, she had been possessed and had almost killed her schoolmates.
Realization dawned on her. She started to move and wimpered, pain shooting through her body. Slowly she sat up, leaning against a wall. She was bruised and cut, and something felt broken, but she couldn't be sure. Her eyes eventually got used to the absense of light and she could make out the cold stone walls. Tears clouded her vision and the pain began to take over. She slid back down the wall, curling into a ball, screwing her eyes shut. She gave in to the pain, one thought on her mind.
Harry.
It went black.

[The Ministry] [Anyone ATTN: Harry] [Morning]
Ginny wasn't happy this morning. She'd walked into her office to find a mound of paperwork. The gossip from Roni Chambers also hadn't helped her mind.
She stomped around the offices barking orders to people who backed away in fear.
"You!" she yelled to someone of no particular title or rank, "I told you that all this shite was supposed to be gone!" she motioned to the stacks of files that were supposed to be filed away. "Useless! Everyone is useless!"

[Ginny's Flat] [Anyone ATTN: HARRY] [mid-morning]
Ginny was playing hooky.
She had stayed at the office until almost 2:00 in the morning, and then hadn't been able to fall asleep. Which was beginning to become a pattern. When 4:00 rolled around she'd turned off the alarm and had finally allowed herself to realize that work would not be an option.
WHen she finally awoke, it wasn't from a restful sleep. She felt as if her body had been pumped full of lead. Dragging herself out of bed she showered with the water as hot as her body could possibly stand it, letting it work the kinks out of her muscles.
She moved from the shower and wrapped herself in a towel. She stared at herself in the mirror, hardly able to believe that she was the person who stared back at her; time was a funny gal. She slipped on her bra and panties, the lacy kind of course one must always feel sexy even when they are feeling down. There was a knock at her flat door.
She smiled to herself. It could only be one person. She clipped her wet hair up and skipped to the door in her knickers.
"Tom you naughty thing what a sur..prise..." she trailed off as she pulled open the door.

[Party Goers!!!! ATTN:ANYONE WHO SENT AN RSVP AND ANYONE WHO WOULD HAVE A REASON TO BE AT THE PARTY] [Ginny's Flat] [Saturday, the 27th 9PM]
[ooc:This is clearly forward-dated so that more people can take advantage of the party before it actually happens this weekend...and Pinky forced me to! MULTIPLE THREADS ARE A MUST!!! INTERACTION WITH EVERYONE IS AMAZING!!!!!]
Magic was cool. Magic was awesome. Magic made it possible to be completely moved into a new flat in a little less than a week.
Ginny surveyed her flat. It was totally her and she loved it. She even loved living in Diagon Alley, above a shop and close to the twins. She loved the idea of living on her own in her own country, on her own terms. The three years she had spent in Russia had been taxing...very taxing.
Lighting one last candle, her flat glowed in what she thought of as a harvest hue since the flat was decorated for the fall. She poured herself a second glass of wine to calm her nerves at the possibility of seeing so many people that she hadn't seen since she fled.
Leaning against the makeshift bar, she smiled to herself. This was going to be an interesting night...no matter what.

[Location: The Ministry] [Open to: Anyone who would be in the Ministry] [When: Morning]
Ginny was dreading this day. This day was her first full day back in London and it would be her first day back at the Ministry as an Auror. She would be an auror low on the totem pole, but she would be higher than anyone who had just decided to start.
She made her way through London in the early morning gloom to the Ministry. She knew that her superior in Russia had let the Ministry here know that she was coming, but she didn't know who was aware that Ginny Weasley was back in the country. Her family didn't even know.
She entered the red phonebooth and punched in a code that would allow her to access the Ministry, not as a visitor. When the doors finally opened on the Ministry main floor, she was faced with a flurry of activity. She took a breath and stepped out onto the floor.
This was going to be a long day.
